Mental Wellness Strategies

This course focuses on mental wellness strategies to promote mental well-being in both clients and staff. It covers techniques for stress management, coping strategies, and building resilience. Participants will learn how to create a supportive environment that fosters mental wellness, enabling individuals to manage stress effectively and build long-term emotional strength. This course is ideal for professionals in the community services sector looking to enhance their skills in promoting mental well-being and resilience.

Duration
The course will consist of 2 workshops, each with a duration of 4 hours.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this course, you must be currently employed in the community services sector with relevant work experience.
Course Information

Delivery Mode: Live sessions, available either in person or via Zoom. On-site facilitation at a workplace can be arranged upon request.

Minimum Participants: A minimum of 20 participants is required for the course to proceed.

Assessments: Participants will be required to complete theory and scenario-based assessments, to be submitted within 4 weeks of workshop completion.

Certification: A Statement of Attainment will be issued upon submission and satisfactory assessment results.

Facilitator
The course will be facilitated by our Course Coordinator, Rebecca O’Sullivan (BPsych, GradDipFDRP, GradDipMgmt, DipYouthWk, DipCouns, CertIVTAE, Cert III IS), who brings extensive expertise and experience in the field.
