Supporting Diverse Abilities
This course focuses on best practices in person-centred care and inclusive disability support, empowering participants to provide tailored, respectful services to individuals with diverse abilities. It highlights the importance of responding to the unique needs of clients with disabilities and fostering an inclusive environment. Participants will learn how to develop and deliver person-centred service responses, ensuring that each individual’s preferences, needs, and goals are respected. This course is ideal for professionals in the community services sector looking to enhance their skills and improve the quality of care provided to individuals with diverse abilities.
Delivery Mode: Live sessions, available either in person or via Zoom. On-site facilitation at a workplace can be arranged upon request.
Minimum Participants: A minimum of 20 participants is required for the course to proceed.
Assessments: Participants will be required to complete theory and scenario-based assessments, to be submitted within 4 weeks of workshop completion.
Certification: A Statement of Attainment will be issued upon submission and satisfactory assessment results.
