Improving Mental Health Awareness
This course focuses on improving mental health awareness by training participants to recognize the signs of mental health crises and provide initial support. It covers techniques for identifying symptoms, offering compassionate assistance, and guiding individuals toward appropriate professional help. Participants will gain the skills to respond effectively to mental health concerns, ensuring a supportive environment for those in need. This course is ideal for professionals in the community services sector looking to enhance their ability to support individuals experiencing mental health challenges.
Delivery Mode: Live sessions, available either in person or via Zoom. On-site facilitation at a workplace can be arranged upon request.
Minimum Participants: A minimum of 20 participants is required for the course to proceed.
Assessments: Participants will be required to complete theory and scenario-based assessments, to be submitted within 4 weeks of workshop completion.
Certification: A Statement of Attainment will be issued upon submission and satisfactory assessment results.
