Leadership and Team Building

This course focuses on developing strong leadership skills and understanding team dynamics to enhance collaboration and service delivery. It equips learners with the tools to build and lead high-performing teams, fostering a work environment that values cooperation and mutual respect. Participants will learn how to effectively communicate, motivate, and manage diverse teams, ensuring a cohesive approach to achieving organizational goals. This course is ideal for professionals in leadership roles or those aspiring to strengthen their leadership capabilities in community service settings.

The course will consist of 2 workshops, each with a duration of 4 hours.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this course, you must be currently employed in the community services sector with relevant work experience.
Course Information

Delivery Mode: Live sessions, available either in person or via Zoom. On-site facilitation at a workplace can be arranged upon request.

Minimum Participants: A minimum of 20 participants is required for the course to proceed.

Assessments: Participants will be required to complete theory and scenario-based assessments, to be submitted within 4 weeks of workshop completion.

Certification: A Statement of Attainment will be issued upon submission and satisfactory assessment results.

Facilitator
The course will be facilitated by our Course Coordinator, Rebecca O’Sullivan (BPsych, GradDipFDRP, GradDipMgmt, DipYouthWk, DipCouns, CertIVTAE, Cert III IS), who brings extensive expertise and experience in the field.
