Effective Communication Skills

This course focuses on enhancing communication skills to improve interactions with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders. It covers essential techniques such as active listening, conflict resolution, and understanding non-verbal communication. Participants will gain the tools to communicate more effectively, fostering positive relationships and ensuring clarity in all professional interactions. This course is ideal for those looking to improve their communication abilities in workplace settings.

The course will consist of 2 workshops, each with a duration of 4 hours.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this course, you must be currently employed in the community services sector with relevant work experience.
Course Information

Delivery Mode: Live sessions, available either in person or via Zoom. On-site facilitation at a workplace can be arranged upon request.

Minimum Participants: A minimum of 20 participants is required for the course to proceed.

Assessments: Participants will be required to complete theory and scenario-based assessments, to be submitted within 4 weeks of workshop completion.

Certification: A Statement of Attainment will be issued upon submission and satisfactory assessment results.

Facilitator
The course will be facilitated by our Course Coordinator, Rebecca O’Sullivan (BPsych, GradDipFDRP, GradDipMgmt, DipYouthWk, DipCouns, CertIVTAE, Cert III IS), who brings extensive expertise and experience in the field.
